Eye Photography

A Photographers Site

Things to come

A taste of things to be uploaded to the Picture Library or Site in the future, if you need any more information, please contact.

Cynical

  • An ongoing, long term project, a book, a story, a manual, a part of a few peoples lives that won’t really mean anything unless you were there, when in a time it changed peoples attitudes, perceptions, thoughts on life, and created a few friendships along the way, amongst other things.

Personal

  • Photographs that mean something to me, historic, emotional or just pleasing to the eye.
  • View [soon]

School

  • I contribute (when I can) to our local school and take photographs for events for free, it seems a shame that some parents don’t get to see them so there are 2 sets to be uploaded, this and last years annual show.
  • If you are a parent of any of the children at the school, please just ask me for access when I’m picking up the children, access will only be given to those who ask in person, no email or phone requests will be entertained.

Youth Theatre

  • I remember the first time I got my camera out of my bag, after just being present for a couple of rehearsals so the kids could get used to me being there, everyone wanted their picture taken really but were acting (some better than others !) all shy for the camera but as soon as they had chance they came running over.
  • “Let me see, let me see” were the cries, all trying to look at the back of my camera.
“What are you looking for ?”
    “The pictures !”
“You’ll need x-ray vision” Looks of bemusement !
“This is what’s called a film camera”
    “A what….”
    I had to laugh….
  • An archive of 12 months of rehearsals and shows from a local Youth Theatre Company, including a Showcase that they organised and performed at the Plaza Theatre in Stockport.
  • Due to the age of some of the members access is restricted to the full gallery, if you were a member (or Parent) or are a member or principle of one of the companies that participated (in the Showcase) when the photographs were taken, please get in touch.
