Leeds Festival 2007
What more can I say….

Really looking forward to it.
Many thanks to XFM Manchester.
Well….1 or 2 pics….

Arrived home safely after a tiring weekend, the sun did shine briefly….

and had a nice chilled out Thursday evening before the madness….

and it didn’t take long….

but if you could stay on your feet….

and get some sleep….

you’d be OK….although I think this guy had the right idea….

Musically, the highlights:
Bjork
Arcade Fire
The Killers
Pics: Sony T5
Glastonbury 2007
….here we come.

The tickets should be dropping through the door next week, it will be nice as I haven’t been since 1998 and I’ll be there as a punter and not carrying a bag (or two) around for three days.
Expect a certain lag after the 24th as I’m sure I’ll still be recovering from the experience, no pics, just pure musical pleasure.
If your going, maybe see you there, I’ll be wearing a Red Rose…..

or is it a Daisy ?

Still recovering from an excellent 3 days at the Wychwood Festival @ Cheltenham Racecourse, another great event with great weather and some superb music and events for all ages.
Will be uploading pictures soon….
Just wanted to say a big thanks to all involved including Graeme Merifield and the team who make it possible, Steve Porter, Dan and his team from The Incubator and all the volunteers who help to make it a fantastic weekend.
Thanks.

Moorfest 2006….almost….
Had an email from Jamie with an update of what’s going on this year:
- Saturday 21st October. 4pm till late at the Moor Top Pub in Heaton Moor.
- This event is the first of three monthly party/mini festivals to take place before Christmas.
- Anyone who gets this: If they are Press can they give it as much publicity as possible. This is from the makers of Moorfest so is always charity related. As always we have a strong association with Prostate Cancer, But on the day of this event the 3 local charities from around Heaton Moor will have Stalls that people can purchase bits and pieces from: Sue Ryder, Cerebral Palsy and Childrens Society are the other charities involved.
- This is for all the people who are missing Moorfest this year. Just to let you know this event is the first of 3 ‘Moorfestier’ Mini-fests planned before Christmas. The other Party’s happen second weekend in November and second weekend in December both on a Saturday day/night. We will keep you posted!!
- Other important info: Moorfestier chefs will be putting on a massive BBQ for all you lovely people under the cover of 2 small marquees. Lots of straw bales and cheap beer guaranteed! Also, because it’s the launch Party we’re charging you a special price of £4 on the door (Get there early)!! Trust me you do not want to miss out on this one!! It’s going to be a blinder!!! All the fun of a festival under a couple of roofs!!
He mentioned this to me a while ago and it’s very good news they have got things going again, they work hard at getting these events up and running for no personal gain, nice one Jamie and Dave.
Contact Jamie at ‘moorfest [at] hotmail [dot] co [dot] uk’ for more info.
